Groups help you sort downloaded files. Each group may have:
All of the above points are optional, but let's see what we can do with them. For example, you may want to create a group which will collect all disk images (DMG) in one specific folder and label them red. Here's a step-by-step to create the group:
Click OK and it's time to check the group. Download this FILE. The file will be saved in the folder you specified and labeled Red.
If regular expression or regex mean something to you, you can apply your knowledge here. Instead of file types, you may use a regular expression to apply it to a download address. The syntax follows the POSIX standard. A group will be assigned to a download once at least one match is found.
For example, when the expression "macpsd.net" (without quotes) is applied to "https://www.macpsd.net/" (without quotes), a match is found, "macpsd.net", and the group with the regex will be applied.
